FastEcho 1.46pl1 README
=======================

Somehow a little bug with quite a big effect made it into the release execut-
ables. For Binkley-style environments FASTECHO PACK -P refuses to pack Net-
Mail messages containing ^aFLAGS: like DIR, IMM, KFS and similar, thus these
messages will remain unprocessed in your NetMail area.
This little patch will fix this problem, your executables will identify them-
selves as version 1.46.1 (patch level 1). To apply the patch you have to call
"BUPDATE FE146PL1" or "BUPDATE -i -o FE146PL1" in case you run into problems.
BUPDATE.EXE is hatched seperately with its documentation as BUPD124A.RAR ...
After applying the patch you should have the following files on your harddisk
provided that you have installed all 3 flavors (or only 3 or 4 of them other-
wise).
FASTECHO.EXE 420048 03.04.97 1:46
FASTEC16.EXE 457152 03.04.97 1:46
FASTECH2.EXE 413744 03.04.97 1:46
plus AREAFIX.HLP 3688 03.04.97 1:46 with a little typo fixed
and WHATSNEW.146 10681 03.04.97 1:46 updated for 1.46pl1
Note: This patch is only needed if you're running a mailer with a Binkley-
style outbound and use PACK -P to send out priority NetMail messages!
It has absolutely NO effect if you're using a different type of mailer
like FrontDoor and similar!
If your executables already identify themselves as 1.46.1 and/or are dated
03 Apr 97, you already picked up a distribution archive containing this patch
level and don't need to apply this .BDF file (BUPDATE will refuse it anyway).
